KAT ball valve for highly abrasive media

The KAT valve is a ceramic-lined ball valve for on/off functions and control tasks for use in highly abrasive media, preferably for applications with special requirements for the switch shaft seal, the housing materials (PVDF, titanium), or very high and very low operating temperatures and high pressures. 

Options

The functional principle is based on the floating ball. The outlet seat ring is fixed. The inlet seat ring is spring-loaded. his means that the ball has no play and always seals. The swivel movement of the ball between 0 and 90° releases a precisely defined opening cross-section. The geometric shape of the ball passage determines the function and control characteristics. The ball valve has a three-part design. This allows adjustments to existing pipelines and optimisation of the flow and control characteristics.

The valves are supplied with hand lever or gear as well as with a pneumatic, electric, or hydraulic actuator.The actuator is attached using an adapter and bridge. All commercially available actuators can be used as rotary actuators. Special connections are possible.
