Pipes & Reducers for Abrasive Conveyed Media
For technical reasons, pipe branches and junctions are installed at various angles. Depending on the angle, these are called T-pieces (90°) or Y-pieces (also known as elbow pieces). A change in flow direction also causes significant turbulence, which can lead to severe wear in media containing solids. Ceramically lined T- and Y-pieces can withstand this wear and ensure a long service life.
