FRP Ceramic Pipe Elbows – Lightweight & Highly Wear-Resistant

Ceramic-lined pipe elbows are used in highly abrasive and corrosive media.The monolithically curved ceramic segment is wrapped in fiberglass-reinforced plastic (FRP). Corresponding fittings (flanges, couplings, clamps, etc.) can also be ceramic-lined and wrapped. The use of high-quality engineering ceramics and appropriate radius sizing ensures optimal wear protection.

Thanks to the thin-walled ceramic construction, the pipe bends can be manufactured to match the nominal diameter. This allows the ceramic pipe bends to be retrofitted into existing systems without the need for piping modifications. Radii can be adjusted using appropriate leg extensions. This design is characterized by its low weight.
