KZT ball valve for high pressures and extreme media
The KZT valve is a ceramic-lined ball valve designed for on/off operation and control applications in highly abrasive and corrosive media, particularly suited for applications with special requirements regarding the stem seal, the body materials (titanium), or for very high and very low operating temperatures and high pressures. Pressure may be applied from either side.

The operating principle is based on a tapped ball. The seat rings are spring-loaded. The primary seal is provided by the inlet seat. The ball's swivel movement between 0 and 90° exposes a precisely defined opening cross-section. The geometric shape of the ball passage determines the valve’s function and control characteristics. The ball valve consists of three parts. This allows for adaptation to existing piping systems and optimization of flow and control characteristics.
The valves are supplied with a hand lever or gear as well as with a pneumatic, electric, or hydraulic actuator. The actuator is attached using an adapter and bridge. All commercially available actuators can be used as rotary actuators. Special connections are possible.
