KST ball valve for abrasive and corrosive media

The KST valve is a ceramic-lined ball valve for on/off functions and control tasks for use in highly abrasive and corrosive media, preferably for applications with special requirements for the stem seal, the body materials (PVDF, titanium), or for very high and very low operating temperatures and high pressures.

The functional principle is based on the floating ball. The seat rings are fixed. The ball has a defined ball clearance and is pressed into the outlet seat by the differential pressure, thereby sealing it. The swivel movement of the ball between 0 and 90° releases a precisely defined opening cross-section. The geometric shape of the ball passage determines the function and control characteristics. The ball valve has a three-part design. This allows adjustments to existing pipelines and optimisation of the flow and control characteristics. The valves are supplied with a hand lever or gear as well as with a pneumatic, electric, or hydraulic actuator. The actuator is attached using an adapter and bridge. All commercially available actuators can be used as rotary actuators. Special connections are possible.
