FlEX Ceramic Hose - Flexible & Extremely Wear-Resistant

The patented ceramic conveyor hose consists of ceramic rings that are vulcanized together with special rubber materials. The ceramic rings have a slightly conical shape to ensure that the rubber joint remains protected in the wake.To achieve the required Compressive strength up to three layers of reinforcing fabric are incorporated into the rubber layers. CeraFlex is manufactured in three pressure ratings,including for vacuum applications.

Options

To prevent electrostatic charging in the medium, antistatic rubber compounds are used; for media that are highly prone to charge separation, electrically conductive ceramic rings are also employed. This design is particularly suitable for the cost-effective manufacture of small-diameter hoses. The weight of the hoses is surprisingly low, and their flexibility is equivalent to that of rubber conveyor hoses. The possible bending radius is ten times the diameter.

The long service life of Cera Flex is achieved primarily because the ceramic lining has no joints along the direction of flow. The medium is always guided back to the center by the conically arranged ceramic rings. The transition to the connection is made of metal and lined with ceramic. To prevent wear in the coupling, the required connection piece is also lined with ceramic.
