Sealing and regulating discs

Ceramic is extremely hard and resistant to abrasion, enabling a service life of millions of operating cycles—even with contaminants in the medium.

Excellent chemical resistance:

Resistant to acids, alkalis, corrosive media, and cleaning agents; ideal for aggressive environments in industrial and sanitary applications.

Good gliding properties and precision:

Optimal surface roughness (up to 0.1 μm) and flatness ensure low friction, precise control, and absolute tightness—even under pressure and temperature fluctuations.

Low density and high hygiene:

Lightweight (approx. 3.9 g/cm³), biocompatible, and easy to clean, which reduces maintenance costs and meets hygiene standards (e.g. drinking water/FDA compliant).

Sanitary engineering:
